Sound Orchard believes that making music together can help create a more healthy, vibrant and connected community. Debbie Daly, Executive Director/President
Debbie is a longtime music-maker, singer and group leader passionate about building community through music and the healing arts. After ten years establishing and growing an award-winning community yoga studio in Arizona, she moved to West Marin and started West Marin Choir with Tim Weed in 2013, then formed Sound Orchard in 2015.
Tim Weed, Creative Director
Tim is an accomplished musician on multiple levels. He is co-director of West Marin Choir and co-coordinator of the Miwok Music Project and Healing Music Project. He comes to Sound Orchard with many years of professional experience as a performing concert musician, recording artist, composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. More at timweed.com
Sarah Cane, Youth Music Coordinator
Sarah has been working with kids and music in the Bay Area for 30 years. In addition to leading our Point Reyes Children's Choir and Inverness School Programs, she conducts for the Peninsula Girls’ Chorus in Burlingame and also works with for Enriching Lives through Music in San Rafael. Her approach instills a love of music-making in playful ways incorporating dance, improvisation, and games into a curriculum focused on vocal musicianship and music literacy.
Larry Enos, Board Treasurer
Larry Enos is the retired superintendant for two West Marin School distrcits. He and his wife Sally have been Inverness residents for 25 years and they raised their two children here. Larry is a founding member of West Marin Choir and he has been studying and creating vocal music his whole life. He serves on the board of West Marin Community Services and Sound Orchard.
Alison Wright, Board Secretary
Alison works in philanthropy, consulting with organizations defending natural resource rights, protecting environmental activists, and amplifying community and indigenous voices for global environmental justice. Alison is a co-founder of The Cairn Project and a board member of Black Mountain Circle. She grew up exploring the trails and beaches of Point Reyes National Seashore. Alison hails from a proud line of female musicians, and is a grateful alumnus of the San Francisco Girls Chorus.
